The picture perfect region is situated at an elevation of over 5,000 ft above sea level. Coorg is a highland country, perched on the escarpment of the Western Ghats. It is bound by Hassan district on the north and by Mysore on the east by the Malabar area of Kerala on the south and by the South Canara district of Karnataka on the west.

Bodhnath
This is Nepal's most famous Buddhist monument, a shimmering white stupa topped by a towering golden spire and watched over by the eyes of the Buddha.
Dakshinkali
At the southern end of the Kathmandu Valley, in a dark, somewhat spooky location, stands the temple of Dakshinkali. They bring buffaloes, chickens, ducks, goats, sheep and pigs, which are matter-of-factly dispatched by having their throats slit or heads lopped off.
Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve
This rarely-visited reserve is a great place to escape the crowds for a few days and do some animal- and bird spotting.

Movies
The only theaters in the country play popular Hindi movies from Bollywood, mostly without English subtitles. But catching a Hindi movie is worth it since understanding the language is not essential to enjoy these comedy-musical spectaculars.
The Himalchuli Cultural Group
This group is a Classical and Folk Dance group, which performs nightly, at 7.00 PM - 8.30 PM, at The Festival Restaurant and Bar in Lazimpat.
Cultural Shows
Almost every restaurant and hotel that caters to the non-backpacking, up-scale market hotels, hosts a nightly culture show complete with local dances, music, songs and costumes.
